South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) established in 1985. SAARC included India, Maldives, Pakisthan, Bangladesh, Srilamka, Bhutan, Nepal. Head quarters of SAARC is at Katmandu of Nepal. Ziaul Rahman, former president of Bangladesh introduced the idea of SAARC.
